SuperMelon is a Palestine-rooted cultural initiative that treats food as a site of inquiry and practice, where history, ecology, and politics meet. We work with food as a cultural and political archive: a way to document land, memory, labor, and the systems that attempt to erase them.

Across research, storytelling, and artistic production, we trace Palestinian foodways as living knowledge: seeds and seasons, recipes and oral histories, farming and foraging techniques, preservation practices, and the everyday work that sustains life. In collaboration with farmers, cooks, artists, and researchers, we curate publications and public programs that hold these practices together and bring them into conversation.

At the center is a material question: what does it take to grow, cook, and eat with agency when land and water are controlled, movement is restricted, and extraction is normalized? By making these conditions legible, we show how food is bound to power, and we use culture to support forms of autonomy rooted in community and carried forward across generations.
